Ingredient List
- 1 cup Pillsbury™ Rava
- ¾ cup Ghee
- ¾ cup Sugar
- ½ tsp Cardamom powder
- 1 tbsp Milk
- 2 ½ cups Water
- 2 drops Natural orange colour (food colour)
- 2 pinch Saffron (Kesar)
- 5-6 Cashews
- 5-6 Almonds
- 12-15 Raisins
Preparation
- Take a small cup and pour 1 spoon milk and 2 pinch kesar in it. Press it with a small spoon till the colour of the milk is changed.
- Take a pan, add 2½ cups of water on medium flame and add ¾ cup of sugar. Add cardamom powder of approximately half a spoon and let it boil. After one boil, off the burner and add 2 drops of natural orange colour (food colour) and the mixture of kesar and milk.
- On the other burner place another pan on medium flame and add ¾ cup ghee, add cashews and almonds and roast them until it turns golden brown. Remove it and keep them aside. Make the flame slow and add 1 cup Pillsbury™ Rava. Roast it till it turns golden brown and starts releasing oil.
- Add hot sugar water carefully in small quantities and keep stirring to avoid lumps. Add raisins and keep stirring till it becomes a little thick. Turn off the flame once it has slightly thickened and cover it with a lid for 5 minutes.
- Serve them with poori or as a dessert.
